On behalf of Koshys Institute of Health Sciences and Cytecare Hospital Pvt Ltd, the 3rd year B.Sc Nursing students of Koshys college of nursing along with educators Mrs Lincy Jesvin and  Ms Shrestha M gathered at Vismaya, the Namma Metro Boulevard, MG Road Metro Station to commemorate Cancer Awareness on Feb 24th of 2024, a day dedicated to raising awareness about cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. 

The event aimed to educate, inspire, and empower individuals and communities to take action against cancer.

 It began with an insightful talk by Ms. Lavanya on emphasizing the significance of cancer and prevention measures and the campaigns assigned highligting the theme "Close the Care Gap" along with advancements in treatment options.

A poignant mime performance was presented by a talented group of artists, depicting the journey of individuals affected by various types of cancer.

The event's conclusion featured a remarkable closing statement given by Ms Nishika during which participants reflected on the day's discussions, awareness visuals and events.
