Freewill of Mind

“The moment that judgment stops through acceptance of what it is, you are free of the mind. You have made room for love, for joy, for peace.” – Eckhart Tolle

The nature of being open-minded and freewill to accept every individual in their uniqueness is the key for having a peaceful mind. ‘Uniqueness‘ is a common concept but it is a challenging task to deal with it. The willingness to accept all the things straight is not everyone’s cup of tea. However, having such quality is what makes one different from all.

To cultivate the nature of acceptance, here are the few mantras that we can follow:

  • Responding to problems  and not reacting to them is one of the solutions. If we inculcate and practice this, most of the issues get sorted at a minimal level.
  • The longer we cling to things, the bigger the problem becomes. The real problem arises only when one tries to complicate things by dragging them for no cause. Instead, if one tries to calm down, drop the problem, and move on, it makes life much easier.
  • There is much more happiness in small and momentary pleasures, one just needs to find it. How a single drop of water makes a mighty ocean! Similarly, every small happy moment leads to a happier life and healthier mind.

  • In relationships, when things get out of reach it’s rather good to stay away and wait for the things to settle. Instead of shooting unnecessary words over a conversation, a single positive thought helps in removing the unrequired filth and negativity from one’s heart and soul. It will also help in strengthening the relationships.
  • In the words of Buddha: “With our thoughts, we make the world.” If one bears in mind to respect everyone’s feelings and emotions, soon the walls in heart will be replaced with love, laughter, and joy. This marks a new beginning for all the odd ends.
  • Zero level tolerance and staying determined helps resolve big things in life. In the case of ants, we see that they stay determined despite being troubled. And, that’s where ants are special creatures with big qualities though tiny in size.

Life would be beautiful if everyone thinks on better terms, trying to be open and like-minded over the exchange of words. One should be broad-minded and navigate thinking in all directions for healthy living. “None but ourselves can free our minds” – Bob Marley
